ICB was founded in 2000 in Sydney, Australia by Podiatrist Abbie Najjarine and Rod Kielt. With years of clinical experience treating patients with lower limb biomechanical conditions, Abbie continued to find that there was no true alternative to expensive laboratory made orthotics. The prefabricated orthotics available were very limited in their application due to their design and construction. It was for this reason that the ICB Dual Density Heat Moulding Orthotic was designed.
The ICB Dual Density Orthotic is revolutionary in it’s design and manufacture – with a worldwide patent. The ICB Orthotic, being constructed from 100% EVA, covalently bonding 2 densities of EVA, offers Practitioners a cost effective, yet highly sophisticated orthotic, which is able to be easily and quickly heated, ground modified and customised. The design of ICB Dual Density orthotics allow the Practitioner to treat both simple commonly experienced, and highly complicated rarer lower limb biomechanical conditions. The one orthotic can be customised to a variety of patient needs. With ICB Orthotics it’s like having an orthotic laboratory in your own clinic.
ICB has led a revolution in the assessment and treatment of lower limb biomechanical conditions. ICB believes strongly in educating, equipping and supporting Practitioners, so they can deliver Superior Biomechanics to their patients.
