‘The Orthotic Revolution’: A Guide to Superior Biomechanics by A.R.
Najjarine: is a great resource for all modalities, and was written to aid Practitioners
in further developing their lower limb biomechanics knowledge, and discusses
clinically proven, conservative treatment methods for commonly experienced lower
limb biomechanical anomalies. ‘The Orthotic Revolution’ is a great resource when
treating patients with lower limb biomechanical dysfunction, and can be used a
quick reference guide to orthotic therapy.
The ICB Lower Limb Biomechanics Training & Education DVD demonstrates
patient assessment techniques, orthotic heat moulding, orthotic modification
techniques, and taping methods. The DVD also walks the viewer through the
orthotic selection process, offering advice on which density and style or orthotic
is most appropriate for each patient and their footwear. Scene selection is built
in so the viewer can skip to the desired section, replay, pause etc. This DVD is
a great resource to keep on hand in the clinic - it can also be used to assist in
biomechanical explanations direct to patients.
